Breaking News - Massive Terrorist Tunnel Uncovered

The Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) announced this week the discovery of a massive terrorist tunnel leading from Gaza into Israel. The tunnel, which experts say may have taken a year or more to construct is some sixty-five feet below ground and is tall enough for men to walk through upright. An IDF spokesman said they believe it was intended for use in an attack, perhaps to kidnap Israeli soldiers to exchange for convicted terrorists being held in prison.

The tunnel was wired with lights and reinforced with concrete slabs. Ironically these concrete slabs were provided to Gaza by Israel after intense international pressure. Israel had previously limited the importation of concrete following the

rocket attacks launched from Gaza.  Many world leaders condemned this move as unnecessarily punitive, so Israel relented and allowed the importing of concrete.

There is now conclusive evidence that more than 24,000 Israeli concrete slabs provided to rebuild homes and businesses in Gaza were actually used to construct a tunnel to attack Israel. The IDF announced that in light of this discovery they have again halted concrete being moved into Gaza.

It is difficult for those of us who live in relative peace and safety to understand what daily life in Israel is like. Because there is little media coverage of terrorist attacks, let alone plans for attacks that are thwarted before they take place, it is easy to forget how dangerous it is just to live in Israel. The reality is that the Jewish People face the threat of death daily simply because of who they are and where they live.

Jewish Voice Ministries is doing everything we can to help bring encouragement, comfort, and show the Jewish People in Israel the love of Yeshua in action. Because of this commitment, we work with more than two dozen ministry partners on the ground in Israel every single day. Together we are providing help and hope to people who desperately need it. Your gift today makes it possible for us to continue these vital outreaches. Please join us in praying for the peace of Jerusalem and Israel. Thank you so much for standing with us as we stand with Israel and the Jewish People. God bless you.

To the Jew first and also to the Nations
